Short bio

Leonidas Christos Karagkounis is a PhD candidate in the Department of Applied Informatics at the University of Macedonia, Greece, supervised by Prof. Ioannis Mavridis. This research addresses human-centric explainable AI for security operations centers, with a focus on explanations that adapt to the individual analyst. Leonidas holds an MSc in Data Science and Machine Learning and a BSc in Computer Science from the Hellenic Open University, and also provides independent research and consulting services in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
